Though MySpace is still the largest social networking site in the US, worldwide Facebook has ran past MySpace. Facebook now has 100 million more worldwide users than MySpace. In December MySpace had 125 million users. About 6 months ago the two social web properties also were similar in number of pages views but now Facebook has nearly twice as many monthly page views at 80 million per month versus MySpace. If current growth trends continue, Facebook should easily pass MySpace in the United States in 2009.
